MISSION TRIP TO GUADALAJARA, MEXICO
In May 2023, the Brook is sending some of our members to serve in Guadalajara, Mexico!

We have partnered with IMB Missionaries Ricardo and Marta. They are planters in Guadalajara, Mexico. This region is home to 5-million people. It is considered the most unreached place in the Americas. “Unreached” is considered > 2% Christian. Practically this means the indigenous people of Guadalajara have no access to christian churches or presence.

This opportunity is great for those who are looking for additional mission experiences or have not gone on a missions trip for some time.

EVANGELISM WORKSHOP + EXERCISE
We believe evangelism is an essential practice that makes for strong missionaries. Come and join our bi-monthly evangelism workshop where you will get small group training to help tell your story, the story of God and reach your neighbors. Additionally, we offer one-on-one in field mentorship so you can exercise what you learned in the workshop.

Attention digital nomads, entrepreneurs, and remote workers! There is an opportunity to work remotely in Mexico City alongside church planters to reach urban professionals in Mexico City. We are looking for a 5-weeks to 6-months commitment to work in mutual co-working spaces in order to engage the indigenous people of Mexico City with the gospel and connect them to the local church there. Spanish is not a prerequisite as many of these urban professionals embrace practicing english.

The Brook has partnered with Hispaniola Institute of Theology! They provide theological training and discipleship for Creole and Spanish speaking laypersons and Pastors. We have the opportunity to supplement their studies with our story. This is a great introduction to Global Missions.

IMB Missions Conference 2024 is a hands-on training event for church pastors, leaders, mission trip participants, and members who desire to learn more about how they can solve the world's most significant problem, lostness. This training experience is a learning opportunity to grow your heart for God's mission for the city of Miami and beyond while also exploring what it means to be part of the global work of God. It is centered around 11-hour learning tracks led by missionaries with extensive field experience.
