The Church Is God's Display Case
Ephesians3:10
"His intent was that now, through the church, the manifold wisdom of God should be made known to the rulers and authorities in the heavenly realms."
Reflection
God had a strategy. Not a program. Not a platform. Not a personality. A Church. Paul reveals that the very reason God reconciled sinners to Himself and to one another was so that through the Church — through ordinary, broken, Spirit-filled people in community — His manifold wisdom would be put on display to a watching world and a watching heaven. The word "manifold" means multi-colored, manyfaceted, endlessly varied. God's wisdom is too rich and too vast for any one person to display. It takes a whole body. It takes people who should never have been together, living as one — and that togetherness is the testimony.

God, let me take the Church seriously — not as a program I attend, but as the display case You have placed me in. Help me live in such a way that Your wisdom is visible in how I love, forgive, and serve those around me.
