Paul writes Ephesians 3:14–21 from a prison cell — and yet he kneels. Not in defeat, but in declaration. This week we slow down inside one of the most powerful prayers in Scripture and let it answer one of the most important questions we can ask: Who are you? You are a child with access. You are someone being strengthened by the Spirit. You are rooted in love too vast to fully measure. You are being filled with all the fullness of God. Each day this week, we open one layer of Paul's prayer and let it shape how we live, love, and follow Jesus.

The Love of Christ Is Bigger Than You've Imagined

"The Lord, the Lord, a God merciful and gracious, slow to anger, and abounding in steadfast love and faithfulness…"
Reflection
The sermon's central question is deeply personal: who are you? And one of the most foundational answers Scripture gives is this — you are someone who knows God. Not just someone who knows about Him, but someone in living relationship with Him. J.I. Packer wrote: "What makes life worthwhile is having a big enough objective… for what higher, more exalted, and more compelling goal can there be than to know God?" The character of God revealed in Exodus — merciful, gracious, slow to anger, abounding in steadfast love — is not a distant description. It is the personality of the Father you have direct access to. Knowing Him changes how you love others, because you cannot genuinely receive His love and withhold it from the people around you.
