Paul writes Ephesians 3:14–21 from a prison cell — and yet he kneels. Not in defeat, but in declaration. This week we slow down inside one of the most powerful prayers in Scripture and let it answer one of the most important questions we can ask: Who are you? You are a child with access. You are someone being strengthened by the Spirit. You are rooted in love too vast to fully measure. You are being filled with all the fullness of God. Each day this week, we open one layer of Paul's prayer and let it shape how we live, love, and follow Jesus.

Reflection
Paul prays for Christ to dwell — not visit — in our hearts. The Greek word means to settle in, to make a home. And the result of that settled presence is that we become rooted and grounded in love. Roots go down before fruit goes out. You cannot love consistently from a shallow place. You cannot walk in the obedience the rest of Ephesians calls for without being spiritually grounded first. Underspiritualizing our salvation makes God's commands feel optional — something we follow when convenient, when we feel like it, when it fits our personality. But when Christ is at home in you, obedience becomes possible — not because you are stronger, but because He is deeper.

Prayer  
Jesus, make Your home in me. Not as a visitor I check in with occasionally, but as the One who shapes everything from the inside. Root me so deeply in Your love that what f lows out of me looks like You.
