Still A People: Who Are You – Day 7
STILL A PEOPLE
WHO ARE YOU?
August 3 – August 9, 2026
Paul writes Ephesians 3:14–21 from a prison cell — and yet he kneels. Not in defeat, but in declaration. This week we slow down inside one of the most powerful prayers in Scripture and let it answer one of the most important questions we can ask: Who are you? You are a child with access. You are someone being strengthened by the Spirit. You are rooted in love too vast to fully measure. You are being filled with all the fullness of God. Each day this week, we open one layer of Paul's prayer and let it shape how we live, love, and follow Jesus.
Day 7
Sunday, August 9
You Were Made to Be Filled With God
Ephesians 3:19–21
"…that you may be filled with all the fullness of God. Now to him who is able to do far more abundantly than all that we ask or think, according to the power at work within us, to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, forever and ever. Amen."
Reflection
Paul ends his prayer not with a list of things to do — but with a declaration of what God can do. He is able to do far more abundantly than all you ask or think. Not slightly more. Not a little beyond. Far more abundantly. And the power He uses is not external — it is the very power already at work within you. The Spirit who raised Christ from the dead is the same Spirit living in you. Paul's closing call to us is clear: pray to know God's love for the purpose of His glory, pray that the Spirit's strength empowers you to love one another, and choose to saturate yourself in the character of God through His Word. Who are you? You are someone being filled with all the fullness of God — and that fullness is for His glory and your joy.

Application
You are not meant to live at a fraction of what God has already placed inside you.
You are not meant to live at a fraction of what God has already placed inside you.
Prayer
Lord, fill me to overf lowing. Let the fullness of Your Spirit pour into every relationship, every room, every responsibility. And when I am tempted to think small, remind me that You are able to do far more abundantly than all I can ask or imagine. To You be the glory — in the church, in my life, forever and ever. Amen.
